Move-in FAQs

Unless pre-approved, all students are required to move in during their scheduled move-in appointment only.

A limited number of moving bins be available to rent at check-in on Move-in Day. To make it easier to move your belongings, we encourage you to bring your own dolly or hand truck.

Lot 20 on State Drive has a max clearance of 6’8”. Therefore, large trucks, trailers, or recreational vehicles cannot be accommodated.

No. Parking fees are in effect during move-in. Be sure to follow all parking restrictions as SFSU is not responsible for any parking violations.

Your OneCard Mobile Credential (SFSU ID) is needed to check-in and access your building, so be sure to download it prior to your arrival.
