Holiday Closure Dates and Important Information
Here come the Holidays! There’s no doubt that the Holidays will be different this year than what we’ve experienced in the past. The risk of being exposed to COVID-19, however, doesn’t mean that we can’t have a fun and festive Holiday Season. The current pandemic give us an opportunity to make new traditions and to connect (virtually of course) with more friends and family than we have on previous Holidays. Below are some low risk activities that you can try this Holiday Season. Enjoy your Holidays and as always, stay safe and healthy!
- Host a virtual Holiday gathering and share yourfavorite recipes
- Watch sports or movies together over video chat
- Play virtual board games
- Do a contactless Holiday goodie exchange
Visit the CDC website for more information on howto safely celebrate the Holidays.

COVID-19 Testing for Fully Vaccinated Residents No Longer Required
Starting on February, 28, 2022, residents who are fully vaccinated* for COVID-19 will no longer be required to take campus administered COVID-19 tests. All non-vaccinated residents with COVID-19 vaccination exemptions, however, must continue to test weekly.
Campus administered COVID-19 tests are available for non-vaccinated residents who are required to test weekly as well as for vaccinated residents who choose to take the test voluntarily. Click the 'Housing COVID-19 Information & Updates' link for testing information.
Please Note: Failure to comply to the testing requirements for any non-vaccinated resident will lead to student conduct review of your account that may lead to the termination of your housing license agreement.
Occupancy Verification Requirement
Each semester, the Student Housing Office and Residential Life conducts a census of the housing community. This process requires action by each resident to verify their occupancy for the spring 2022 semester and will help ensure that each student is accounted for, occupancy rosters are accurate, and billing information is correct.
To verify occupancy, residents will need to complete the Occupancy Verification form, which will be available on the Housing Portal at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. All housing residents are required to complete this form by no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2022. This form will take you less than 1 minute to complete.
