Keep the Move-in Guide at Your Fingertips on Move-in Day!
We recommend having the Move-in Guide on your phone on Move-in Day so that you can refer to the check-in and unloading instructions, route maps, and the Getting Settled Guide as needed throughout the day.
You can access the Move-in Guide directly from the SFSU Mobile App. Simply download the App from the App Store or Google Play by searching for SFSU Mobile, then click the 'Housing' button and select 'Move-in Guide'.
Once you're moved-in and settled, be sure to check out other great features of the SFSU Mobile App, such as campus maps, dining locations, and more!

All residents have been assigned a specific date and time to move-in. This information displayed on the last page of your Move-in Confirmation on the Student Housing Portal.

ARRIVE ON TIME
Please do not arrive early on Move-in Day. If you do, you will be required to wait until your scheduled time. If you arrive later than your scheduled time, you may need to wait until Move-in staff can accommodate you. Wait time could range from 1-2 hours.
HAVE YOUR SFSU MOBILE CREDENTIAL & ROOM ASSIGNMENT INFO AVAILABLE
Be sure to download your OneCard Mobile Credential (SFSU ID) prior to arriving on Move-in Day and take a screen shot of your room assignment information (found on the last page of your Move-in Confirmation on the Student Housing Portal). You will need them at Check-in on Move-in Day.
BRING ONLY 1 VEHICLE
To minimize congestion in unloading areas, only 1 vehicle per resident is allowed in the unloading areas. Any additional vehicles will need to go directly to Lot 20 levels 1-3.
