Mary Ward Hall is one of two traditional residence halls on campus. This community offers a wide variety of resources and support to help first year students transition to the campus community.

Mary Ward Hall was named after the Dean of Women at SF State, who was instrumental in developing student clubs and convincing other members of campus administration that the residence halls were needed.
Furnished traditional residence hall rooms.
Some units are specially adapted for students with disabilities.
