Getting settled into your new home doesn’t just mean unpacking. You also need to become familiar with your neighborhood, meet your community support team, and learn how to get assistance if something comes up.

Internet providers vary by building. Detailed directions on how to connect will be sent to your SF State email account upon check-in or you can visit the 'Residential Wi-Fi Services' page for more information.

Turn It In!

To avoid unnecessary charges at move-out, be sure to complete the Room Condition form within 3 days of your move-in date.

Complete the Occupancy Verification form between January 27 - February 9

Both forms are available on the Student Housing Portal.

All residents are responsible for knowing and abiding by the policies and procedures contained in the COMMUNITY LIVING STANDARDS GUIDE, so be sure to review it thoroughly.

Want to protect your personal belongings? Now you can apply for personal property insurance through GRADGUARD directly on the Student Housing Portal.

If you have a cleanliness, maintenance, or repair issue with your space after you have moved in, click the 'Maintenance Issues' button above to submit a service request. Please Note: Students will not be assigned a new room for any of the above issues that can be resolved by Facilities Services.
