Mary Park and Mary Ward Residence Halls

SF State's two traditional residence halls, Mary Ward and Mary Park Halls, offer an ideal introduction to University life. The San Francisco State University Residence Halls’ 825 spaces are reserved for first-time freshman students. University Housing Services offer a wide variety of programs designed to facilitate the successful transition of first-time freshmen students to the campus community. Furnished double occupancy rooms with a gender specific common bathroom in the hallway. Eligibility: First Time Freshman

  • All rooms are double occupancy with gender specific showers and bathrooms on each wing of every floor.
  • Residents are allowed to bring a small refrigerator or microwave to use in their rooms.
  • Meal Plan Included


Meal Plan: Each resident in the Halls is required to have a meal plan: 7 day, 5 day, 336 block, and 240 block.
